NUMBER ONE FIX:
Hard Reset your device by holding the Home button and Power button at the same time for approximately five seconds
Bluetooth:
- Swipe down on the top right portion of your screen by the battery life indicator
- Hold your finger down on the Bluetooth icon
- Confirm that Bluetooth is turned on (the icon is blue)
- Hold your finger on the Bluetooth icon again
- If you have connected your device before it should show up on the list
- If you need to pair a new device select "Bluetooth Settings..." at the bottom
- Wait for your device to populate on the list and then select it to begin pairing
Screen Rotation:
- To turn on/off Screen Rotation Lock: swipe down on the top right of the screen and tap the icon with a lock and an arrow around it.
- It is transparent when turned off and white when turned on
External keyboard issues:
- To confirm that the keyboard is detected:
- navigate to Settings and then select General on the left side
- Tap Keyboard
- Confirm that you see the Hardware Keyboard tab as the second option
- disconnect and reconnect the keyboard if you do not
- Hard reset the iPad
- Try a different keyboard
