Connecting Bluetooth device:
- Open System Preferences on your dock
- Click on the Bluetooth tab on the left side
- Confirm that Bluetooth is turned on
- Once you have put your Bluetooth device into pairing mode it should show up under 'Nearby Devices'
- Click on the device and it should connect

Add a printer or scanner:
- Open System Preferences on your dock
- Scroll to the bottom of the left side of the page
- Click on "Printers & Scanners"
- Click "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax..."
- Pick your printer from the list of printers available
- Click "Add"
How to use Airdrop:

Sending a file:
- Right-click a file and click "Share..."
- Select Airdrop from the list of options

- Wait for the device of the person you are trying to share with to appear
- Select their device and then share

Receiving a file:
- Hit Command ⌘ + Spacebar on your keyboard
- type 'airdrop' and click on the first result
- In the window that opens change "Allow me to be discovered by:" to 'Everyone'
- Wait for a notification to appear that someone wants to airdrop to you
- Select accept and you will receive the file
Connect to Network Folder:
- Hit Command ⌘ + 'K' on your keyboard
- Enter smb://netshares and hit Enter
- If you have the necessary permissions, you should be able to access the folders you need
Sync your Google Calendar to Apple Calendar:
- Open the calendar App on your Mac
- On the top menu bar click on "Calendar" then "Settings..." and then Accounts
- On the window that opens up click the plus symbol at the bottom
- Select Google and log in to your MISD email address
- Once logged in check the box next to "Enable this Account"
- It may take about 15 minutes to fully populate
Connecting Multiple Monitors:
- If you plan on connecting two or more monitors to your MacOS laptop you must request a plugable docking station
- Once you have confirmed you are connecting via plugable docking station you must then navigate to MISD Self-Service
- Search for "Display Link Driver" and install that item
- Once installed click on the Display Link Icon in the right side of the menu bar
- On the dropdown select "Launch automatically after login"
- Done
